Michael Earl Burke

Michael Earl Burke, 64, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021, in Katy, Texas.

Michael was born September 23, 1956, in Houston, Texas, the son of Edwin and Winnie (Wooten) Burke. He grew up and attended school in the Houston area. Michael was united in marriage to Linda Machac on March 9, 1989, at the Harris County Courthouse in Houston. A mechanic at heart, Michael worked as a small engine mechanic and, in his spare time, enjoyed motorcycles and rocketry. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Native American artifacts.

He is survived by his wife:  Linda Burke of Brookshire; sons:  Christopher Michael Burke and wife, Lauren, and Nathaniel Earl Burke and wife, Jessica, both of Brookshire; grandchildren:  Lilian Walthall, Lena Burke, Clark Burke, and Ruby Burke; sisters:  Cathy Voight, Sharon Wentz, and Gena Davis; good friend: Ralph Pierotti; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Winnie Burke.
