Patricia Mae Bufkin

Patricia T. Bufkin, formerly Patricia Thomas, 80, of Pattison, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020, in Kyle, Texas.

Patricia was born July 27, 1940, in Baytown, Texas, the daughter of Stinnett and Blanche (Pattison) Thomas. She grew up in the Pattison area, attending Pattison High School, and also Sam Houston State College in Huntsville. She was last united in marriage to Eddie Bufkin. Patricia was a member of the Pattison First United Methodist Church. She was active in her community, serving as a member of the Pattison Cemetery Association, Pattison City Council, and the Brookshire Pattison Library, where she worked.

Patricia is survived by her sons:  Albert “Al” Abel and wife, Suzanne, of Kyle, Ashley Abel and wife, Carole, of Colorado, Chris Smith and wife, Terrie, of Clear Lake, Jay Smith and wife, Robin, of Katy, and Troy Smith of Dallas;  daughter: Amy Bufkin and wife, Lindsey, of Florida;  grandchildren: Ashley Thomas Abel, Jr., Matthew Smith, Laci Smith, Trey Smith, Nicholas Smith, Zachary Smith, and Emery Bufkin;  great-grandchildren: Brodie Segers and Carter Toynes; and former husband:  Jerry Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Abel and Eddie Bufkin, and parents, Stinnett and Blanche Thomas.
