Patricia Meddles Davis

Patricia Ann Meddles Davis went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, October 27, 2012. Born on February 24, 1923 in Hastings, NE, to Fred and Margaret Meddles, she was the third of six children. She relocated to Houston, Texas, in the 1950's to attend Gulf Coast Bible College. There she met and married Jack Davis in 1959 at the First Church of God. Shortly thereafter, she and Jack started a family and had three children. In the ensuing years she played many roles, wife, mother, homemaker, church volunteer, and secretary. She will be most remembered as someone who unselfishly loved her family and others as she loved herself. Though we will miss her, we are comforted knowing she is in a better place and that we will see her again! She is survived by her brother Jack Meddles and sister, Ramona Dunlap, three children, Barton Davis, Terri Smith (Davis) and Todd Davis, six grandchildren, Christopher Smith, Victoria Davis, Brittany Pavelka (Smith), Katy, Susan, and Jacob Davis, and one great grandchild, Kasen Smith.
