Patricia Ann Bryant

PATRICIA ANN RICKS BRYANT, 74, of Bellville, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2012, in a Bryan hospital. Patricia was born February 18, 1938, in Many, Louisiana, to parents Vance Edward and Louretta Lilly Ricks. Her younger years were spent in Many, before her family moved to Houston, Texas in 1941. She attended school in Galena Park graduating from Galena Park High School. During her working years, Patricia was employed as an administrative assistant for Lone Star Marine. She has lived in Austin County since 1965 when she moved to Millheim and founded Boots and Saddle Ranch. Patricia most recently made her home in Bellville. She was always interested in politics and enjoyed watching Fox News. She was an avid gardener and especially treasured the time she was able to spend with her family. She is survived by her SON: Jeff Bryant and his wife, Misty, of Katy; DAUGHTERS: Joni Lee Boston of Bellville and Cary Lynn Sims and her husband, Richard, also of Bellville; SPECIAL STEP DAUGHTER: Diane Bryant Abel and husband, Travis, of Sealy; GRANDCHILDREN: Jake Sims, Molly Sims Grabarschick, Emily Sims, Laraina Crabb, Lindsey Crabb, Jesse Bryant, Jenna Bryant, Jaycee Bryant, Skylar Zeller, Dee Anne Williams Lerma, Troy Ingenhuett and Michelle Williams Baker; and GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Taylor and Logan Grabarschick, and Kyle Whisnant Sims with a fourth great grandchild on the way. Patricia is also survived by her SISTERS: Marilyn Davis and her husband, Tommy, of Oklahoma, Linda Walters and her husband, Lee, of Gause, Texas, Carol Campbell and her husband, Earl, also of Gause; SISTER-IN-LAW: Ann Prestwood; SPECIAL FRIEND: Janie Mewis; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
