Patrick Lawrence Neelley

PATRICK LAWRENCE NEELLEY, 59, lifelong Brookshire resident, passed away suddenly on August 1, 2017, in Katy, Texas. Patrick was born September 5, 1957, in Sealy, Texas to parents Conrad Vincent Neelley, Sr. and Patricia E. McDonald Neelley. He grew up and attended school in Brookshire, graduating from Royal High School in 1977.   On April 21, 1990, he married Joan Johnson in Brookshire where they have made their home.  Patrick was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Patrick's greatest joy was spending time with his family and he was always giving back to his community.  He was currently serving on the Brookshire Economic Development Board and was a member of the Knights of Columbus.  When his children were in school, he had enjoyed working with the Royal FFA. Patrick was an avid hunter, and enjoyed NASCAR and watching golf. Patrick is survived by his WIFE:  Joan Neelley of Brookshire; DAUGHTER:  Sara Cole and her husband, Lukeman, of Houston; SONS:  Matthew Neelley of Phoenix, Arizona and Jared Neelley of Brookshire; and DAUGHTER: Julia Neelley, also of Brookshire;  GRANDCHILDREN:  Lukeman Cole, Brayden Neelley, Isaiah Neelley and Liam Neelley; SISTERS:  Carolyn Howe and her husband, Rick, of Brookshire, and Mary Luxton and her husband, Tommy, of Kerrville; MOTHER:  Patricia Neelley of Brookshire; BROTHERS:  Mark Neelley and his wife, Evelyn, of Sealy, Gregory Neelley and his wife, Lauri, of Brookshire,   Arthur Neelley of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and Eric Neelley and his wife, Louise, of Bellville; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.  Patrick was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Neelley, Sr., son, Marshall Neelley, and brothers James Neelley and Conrad Neelley, Jr. Friends who wish may make memorial gifts to:  https://www.gofundme.com/patrick-neelley-memorial-fund.
