Patty S. (Buller) Way, 90, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.
Patty was born on October 15, 1933, to Elmond H. and Mae Buller in Baytown, Texas. She grew up in Houston but felt at home out in the country in Pattison, Texas on the weekends. Patty was united in marriage to Robert L. Way in Houston. Robert and Patty spent some of their most memorable years together in El Paso, Texas before making their home in Houston again. They were blessed with two daughters, Brenda and Tiffany, and two sons, Gregory and Howard. A homemaker, Patty found joy in taking care of and spending time with her family. Patty was an active and sharp woman throughout her life. Even until just before her passing, she still drove herself places. In her spare time, Patty enjoyed embroidering and was a shopping network queen. She also had a powerful sweet tooth and loved her potato chips.
She is survived by her daughters: Brenda S. (Way) Vuicich and husband, John, of Eagle Lake, and Tiffany A. Stone and husband, Clayton T., of Austin; sons: Gregory T. Way of Livingston and Howard L. Way and wife, Milla, of Houston; grandchildren: Lee and Grant Stone, both of Austin; cousin: Mary Bartlett of Sealy; dear friends: Francis and Fred Foreman of Houston; and neighbor and friend: Mary Hudson of Houston.
Patty was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Way; parents: Elmond and Mae Buller; and sister: “Biddie” Buller.
Many thanks to Howard, Greg, Mindy, Tiffany, and Trey for all of the meals and special care for Mother towards the end.
