PHYLLIS RAYE (GRAVES) WILLIS, 65, of Orchard, Texas, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, in Richmond, Texas. She was born October 26, 1952, in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of Phillip Reed and Mary Geneva (Bunn) Graves. Phyllis grew up a Navy Brat and traveled to many places before her family settled in Texas City, Tx., where she attended High School. She owned and operated an antique store in Houston, Texas and enjoyed her time collecting and selling antiques, until the grandchildren began arriving. She sold the store, loaded up and moved to Brenham, Tx. where she spent most of her time being a devoted grandmother. She would jump at the chance to keep all of the babies for weeks at a time, as to not miss anything. She never met a stranger, she loved to talk to anyone! She had such an amazing personality, everyone that knew her loved her instantly! She had an unforgettable laugh and smile. She loved spending time with family and let’s not forget all those flowers and plants in her yard and of course her dogs. Her love for children didn’t have limitations to only her grandchildren, therefore she became grandma to all the kids in her life. She loved all of her “grandkids.”Phyllis is survived by her daughter: Michelle Haas of Wallis; son: Shane Willis and his wife, Lisa, of Sealy; husband: Eugene Hundl of Orchard; grandchildren: Drew McWilliams-Willis, Dayton Willis, Hunter Haas and Bailey Johnson; and sister: Dolpha “Kitty” Mobley and her husband, Bob, of Magnolia; and last but not least her dogs: Tank and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Mary Graves and husband Gene Willis.
