Ramona Jean Morris

RAMONA JEAN MORRIS was born March 20, 1949, in Memphis, Tennessee, to parents Stanley and Laura Elizabeth Atkins. She grew up and attended school in Memphis and graduated from Treadwell High in 1967. Ramona married Bobby Morris, her high school sweetheart since the age of 16, on August 12, 1967 in Memphis, Tennessee. They made their home in Little Rock, Arkansas where they raised their family until relocating to the Houston area in 1983. Ramona owned her own travel agency and enjoyed working as a travel agent. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Ramona enjoyed tennis and traveling and treasured the time she was able to spend with her grandchildren. She is survived by her HUSBAND OF 45 YEARS: Bob Morris of Fulshear; CHILDREN: Bobby Morris and his wife, Kelley, of Fulshear, Kimberly Gonzales and her husband, Terry, of Richmond; GRANDCHILDREN: Trey Morris of Fulshear, Kaitlin Gonzales, Kassidy Gonzales and Trace Gonzales, all of Richmond; MOTHER: Elizabeth Flippin of Memphis, TN; SISTER: Betty Pirtle, also of Memphis, and many other dear friends and relatives. Ramona was preceded in death by her fathers, Stanley Atkins and James Flippin.
