Raymond Adley Ehlert

Raymond Adley Ehlert, 76, of Waller, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in Katy, Texas.

Raymond was born October 3, 1946, in Sealy, Texas, the son of Lawrence and Berdine (Wright) Ehlert. He grew up in the Pattison area, graduating from Royal High School. Raymond worked as an engineer for many years all over the United States. He was a member of the Pattison United Methodist Church in Pattison, Texas. Raymond treasured every moment he spent with his family. Raymond was active in his spare time, enjoying woodworking, gardening, barbequing, and spending time on the lake.

He is survived by his daughters: Raenell Franz and husband, David, of Waller, Amy Ahern and husband, Chris, of Weatherford, and Dollie Meals of Mineral Wells; granddaughters: Brittany LeBlanc and husband, Chase, and Emily Meals; grandsons: Matthew Franz and Jacob Franz; sister: Carol Bentley; brothers: Rodney Ehlert and wife, Carol, and Kevin Ehlert and wife, Jane; sister-in-law: Cheri Ehlert; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many friends.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents: Lawrence & Berdine Ehlert; brother: Donald Ehlert; and soulmate: Grace Childs.
