Ricky Samonte Damaso

Ricky Samonte Damaso, 62, of Brookshire, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Ricky was born August 22, 1959, in San Francisco, California, to Romualdo F. and Marciana F. (Samonte) Damaso. He grew up and lived in California before making Texas his home for the last 20 years. Ricky was employed in the seafood department at HEB. He enjoyed his coffee and a good old game of dominoes. Ricky loved life and spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his daughter: Rita M. Adams of Hardin; son: Romualdo Michael Damaso of Brookshire and Edward Verstrepen of Highlands; grandchildren: Riley, Lily, Malia, Mayla, Kona, Graysen, and Emberly; and sisters: Marlyn Damaso of South San Francisco, CA and Mona Lee Damaso of San Jose, CA.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, Romualdo and Marciana Damaso, and brother: Romeo Damaso.
