Robert Brian Trettenero

ROBERT (BOB) BRIAN TRETTENERO, 61, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, in Houston, Texas.

Bob was born in 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan. The son of Larry L. and Kathleen (Blachut) Trettenero, Bob grew up and attended schools in the Midwest. He graduated from Libertyville High School in Libertyville, Illinois, then earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Illinois State University.

Bob was united in marriage to Pamela Dunn on January 1, 1990 in Stafford, Texas. He and Pam initially made their home in Armada, Michigan where their two youngest children were born. In 2001 the family moved to Texas and shortly after built their home in Bellville. In 2017 Bob retired after a 37-year career as a claims manager for Allstate Insurance. An avid golfer, Bob enjoyed being a member of the Bellville Golf Club. He also loved working with the youth of the community, and took great pride in being a member of the Austin County Fair Association Goat Committee, and former chairman. Bob established a small vineyard on their ranch and delighted in making wine for family and friends.

He is survived by his wife: Pam Trettenero of Bellville; daughters: Kristen Trettenero-Rodriguez of Bellville and Angela Trettenero of Melbourne, Florida; sons: Brian Trettenero of Houston and Robert Paul Trettenero of Grapevine; grandchildren: Christopher Rodriguez, Elizabeth Rodriguez and Timothy O’Sullivan; sisters: MaryLee Trettenero and Laurie Alli and her husband, Mark; brothers: William Trettenero and his wife, Mary Anne, and Patrick Trettenero and his husband, Patrick MacMurray; brother-in-law: John Phillips and numerous other relatives. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Kathleen Trettenero and his sister, Theresa Phillips.
