Roland William Roe

ROLAND WILLIAM ROE, 81, of Sealy, Texas, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020, in Bellville, Texas.
He was born October 6, 1938 in Eagle Lake, Texas, the son of Andrew and Annie Clark Roe. Roland grew up in the Rosenburg area, before moving to Austin and El Campo. He was united in marriage to Pamela Chris on January 2, 1974, in Beaumont, Texas. Roland and Pamela moved to Sealy, where they made their home.
He enjoyed deer hunting, listening to country and western music – a huge Merle Haggard fan and was an avid bass fisherman.
Roland is survived by his wife of 46 years: Pamela Roe of Sealy; three sons: Mike Roe of Vidor, Andy Roe and his wife, Sherry, of Harrisonville, Missouri and Jason Roe and his wife Meghan, of Sealy; sisters: Helen Robinson of Kingwood and Wanda Stephens and her husband, Lewis, of Trinity; grandchildren: Mistie, Chris, Phillip, Nick, Kayson, Colin, Christopher, and Liam; numerous nieces, nephews, a host of other family members and friends; and caregiver: Cindy Theriot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Annie Roe, daughter, Carolyn Bales, two brothers: Jesse and Jim Roe, brother-in-law, Gene Robinson, and daughter-in-law, Minnie Roe.
