Romaldo Garcia Herrera

ROMALDO GARCIA HERRERA, 74, of Katy, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2020, in Houston, Texas.

Romaldo was born January 24, 1946, in Mexico.  He grew up and attended school in Mexico.  On January 1, 1972, Romaldo married Elizabeth Ramos in Mexico.  Romaldo and Elizabeth have lived in Texas for the past 35 years.  They moved to Fulshear where Romaldo was employed on a ranch before making their home in Katy, where they were members of the Iglesia Berrea Baptist Church.

Romaldo loved animals, especially horses, and was a very hardworking man.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years:  Elizabeth Garcia of Katy; daughters:  Lorena Sanchez and her husband, Alejandro, of Katy, Soyla Hernandez and her husband, Roman, of Katy, Paula Cardenas and her husband, Roberto, of Eagle Pass, and Sandra Garcia and her husband, Cresensio, of Katy; son:  Rumaldo Garcia, Jr. of Katy; grandchildren:  Sarah, Juanita, Alexa, Alejandro, Eduardo, Emma, Reynaldo, Roberto, Jr., Claudia, Mayra, Karlos, Alexa, Sofia, Crystal, Miranda and Sebastian; and great grandson:  Julian.  Romaldo is also survived by his brothers and sisters:  Antonio Garcia, Guadalupe Esquivel, Jose Garcia, Armandina Esquivel, Domingo Garcia, Jr., Lidia Perez, Juanita Perez, Venancio Garcia and Alma Angelica Lopez.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Avidan Garcia in 2004, brother, Carlos Garcia and sister, Celia Arellano.
