Rona Heather Wolford

Rona Heather Wolford, a cherished member of her family and community, was born on September 2, 1976, in Johnson City, Tennessee. She departed from this world in Brookshire, Texas, on February 19, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and warmth that will be fondly remembered by those who had the privilege to know her.

Rona had a deep-rooted passion for helping others, often extending a hand to those in need. Her friendly demeanor and welcoming personality made her a beloved figure among friends and family alike. She was always willing to provide support and encouragement, exemplifying what it truly means to be a compassionate human being.

Throughout her life, Rona cultivated various interests that brought her joy. She had a special love for animals and dedicated her time to petsitting, ensuring that furry companions were well cared for. Gardening also held a dear place in her heart, as she found solace and satisfaction in nurturing the natural world around her.

Rona’s educational journey included some college, where she likely forged connections and gathered experiences that contributed to her warm outlook on life. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Casey Wolford, and a proud mother to her son, Jeremy Caufield. She is also survived by her sister, Staci LaForce, who will carry forward her loving spirit.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ronald Laforce and Brenda Whaley.

Rona Heather Wolford’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. Her commitment to helping others and her vivacious spirit have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the light she brought into the lives of those fortunate enough to call her their own.

A memorial service will be held March 8, 2025 from 2:00 PM-4:00PM at the Sunset Farm at Jordan Ranch. Everyone is asked to bring an item to donate to an animal shelter in memory of Rona or if you wish you can donate to KAWWS in Cypress or CAPS (Citizens for animal protection) in her memory.
