Rose Mary (Waggoner) Dalton

ROSE MARY (WAGGONER) DALTON, 80, of Bellville, Texas, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017, in Brenham, Texas. She was born December 1, 1937, in Spring Branch, Texas, the daughter of Silas and Ella (Kolbe) Waggoner.  Rose’s family was part of the founding families of Spring Branch.  She grew up and attended schools in the Houston area.  Rose was employed as a bookkeeper for Houston Green Houses and later was an owner of Dairy Queen Restaurant in Katy.  Rose was united in marriage to Noel Dalton.  She enjoyed cooking, watching the Professional Bull Riding, and also watching the Rockets and Texans.  Rose loved spending time with her grandchildren more than anything.  She is survived by her daughters: Debbie Dalton and Amy Dalton, both of Bellville; son: Mike Dalton of Bellville; brother: Charles “Butch” Waggoner of Katy; and grandchildren: Brandon Dalton of College Station and Robbie Smith of Bellville.
