Sabrina Alegria

Sabrina Alegria, 41, of Brookshire, Texas, passed peacefully from this life into the loving arms of our Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Sabrina was born May 13, 1982, in Laredo, Texas, to Genaro Alegria and Irene Vera Alegria. She grew up in Merced, California, graduating from Golden Valley High school. In 2001, Sabrina made her home in Brookshire, Texas. She was very active in her church, Iglesia Christiana Bautista Ebenezer in Hempstead, Texas, and valued taking care of the children during services. In her spare time, she enjoyed being active physically as well by walking, dancing, and taking Zumba classes. Sabrina treasured every moment she spent with her family.

She is survived by her parents: Genaro Alegria and Irene Vera Alegria of Brookshire; sisters: Cynthia Ibarra of Katy, Priscilla Navarro and husband, Fermin, of Sealy, and Veronica Perales of Brookshire; brothers: Patricio Alegria and wife, Sandy, of Sealy, Robert Perales and Joe Perales both of Brookshire; nieces: Saira Ibarra, Cynda Crum, Athena Navarro, and Amelya Navarro; nephews: Jaime Ibarra, Fermin Navarro and Emiliano Alegria; and many friends.

Sabrina was preceded in death by her grandfather, Patricio Alegria, and uncle, Jesus Alegria.
