SUSAN TREU (Sue Ellen Pester) a resident of Sealy, passed away peacefully at her home July 3 rd .
She was born June 28, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Karl and Bette Ellen (Botts) Pester. Susan grew up and attended schools in Kettering, Ohio.
Susan was a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. She spent many years sailing with Hans, on Galveston Bay, countless hours gardening, and enjoyed shopping for antiques. She lived her life well having worked in NASA’s Space Shuttle program, later opening Susan’s Flowers, etc. in Clear Lake, Texas, before retiring in Bellville and Sealy, Texas, and dabbling in the antique market.
Susan no longer suffers from the autoimmune disease of rheumatoid arthritis.
Susan is survived by her husband of 39 years: Hans Treu; sister: Karen Brown (Phil, deceased); two children: Chris Lab (Tracy) and Kelly Petrou (Chrisovaladis); six grandchildren.

An informal, casual Celebration of Life service will be held at their home 734 FM 331 RD in Sealy this Saturday, July 11 from 11-1pm. Phone 979-398-1478.
