Terry Lee Johnson, Jr.

Terry Lee Johnson Jr., 54, of Bellville Texas passed away suddenly of cardiac arrest Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Terry is survived by his wife: Tina Johnson; children: Amanda Brooks and her husband, Justin, Dustin Johnson, Woodrow Johnson, Anelise Johnson, Kara Johnson, and stepdaughters: Lexi Cline, Hanna Myers-Rivas, and her husband, Jorge, Megan Myers and her husband, KC Olmstead; grandchildren: Aubrey and Henry Brooks: brother: Woody Johnson and his wife, Crystal; sisters: Misty Cooper and her husband, Harley, and Summer Johnson; along with many loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father: Terry Lee Johnson Sr, brother: Kevin Acosta and sister: Dusty Johnson.

Terry was born May 12, 1970, in Austin Texas. Terry served our country and joined the United States Army shortly after high school.  He attended the University of Texas and worked as a Project Manager in Construction.

Terry was united in marriage to Tina Johnson in Bellville, Texas on April 27, 2019. Family man is a term not appreciated nearly enough these days. Terry though, was the epitome of how great and unselfish it is to put those in your family first. He was a very devoted husband and father. A very close second was his devotion to his favorite teams. Never missing a game and always making time to cheer on the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. Terry also enjoyed fishing and being on the water surrounded by family and friends. He had the ability to make a witty comeback for almost any conversation and was a great storyteller. Terry was a magnetic person and effortlessly drew in people around him. Terry enjoyed traveling and living life to its fullest, but for him, there was no place like home surrounded by family. He always lived with the best intentions.

As we lay Terry to rest today, we bury only his body. His spirit, his soul, and his amazing ability to light up a room are still with us. He lives on in the stories people will continue to share and in love that is visible in the eyes of our family and friends.
