TINA MARIE (RODRIGUEZ) HUEBNER, 53, of Industry, Texas, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015, in Temple, Texas. Tina was born March 18, 1962, in Austin, Texas, the daughter of Frank Rodriguez, Sr. and Dora (Calvo) Rodriguez. She moved to Bellville at an early age where she attended school. After graduating from Bellville High School in 1980, Tina then attended Blinn Jr. College and Sam Houston State University. On August 6, 1983, Tina married Robert Huebner. They have made their home in Industry and have been members of St. John Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Tina was employed as the Executive Director of the 911 Communication District in Austin County. Active in community affairs, she served on the Board of Directors for the Bellville Little League, and coached softball for numerous generations of girls. She also served as a 4-H Leader and Bellville Band Booster, and was instrumental in getting the new concession stand at the Bellville High School football stadium. Tina also enjoyed assisting her mother with her embroidery business. She loved the outdoor life and enjoyed mowing her lawn telling others, "You better not touch my mower." Tina also enjoyed woodworking and completing multiple projects around the house. She enjoyed being a great aunt, but her pride and joy was her new granddaughter, Olivia. Tina is survived by her husband: Robert Huebner of Industry; children: Krystal Rettig and her husband, Aaron, also of Industry; Jonathan Huebner and his wife, Jordan, of Huntsville, Lindsey Huebner and her fiance, Brad Blezinger, of El Campo; granddaughter: Olivia Rettig; parents: Frank, Sr. and Dora Rodriguez of Bellville; sisters: Mary Ann Reynolds and her husband, Steve, of Sealy, and Deanna Share and her husband, Robert, of Bellville; brother: Frank Rodriguez, Jr., also of Bellville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, a great nephew and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 2, 2016, at the Bellville Little League Park led by family and friends. The Tina M. Huebner Memorial Fund has been set up at First National Bank of Bellville for anyone who would like to make a contribution or donation.
