Tomas A. Arizola

February 2, 1947 — August 3, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tomas Arizola, Jr. on Saturday, August 3, 2024. Tomas was born in Fowlerton, Texas on February 2, 1947, and faced the hardship of losing his father at a young age. Raised by his mother, Antonia, and surrounded by loving brothers and sisters, Tomas was a pillar of strength for his family.

Tomas met the love of his life while traveling with his brother Lupe's band, and on March 31, 1973, he joined in marriage with Sandra Fetterhoff in Racine, Wisconsin. Together, they purchased their first home in Milwaukee and made the selfless choice to provide a loving home for 7 foster children, in addition to raising their own two sons, Tomas, III and Neal Arizola. The love and care they provided extended to their grandchildren, Nathan Arizola and Shadie Torres.

In May of 2023, Tomas suffered the loss of his beloved wife, Sandy, leaving behind 50 years of cherished memories. Tomas was a remarkable electrician, excelling in leadership roles throughout his career. He also enjoyed spending time fishing and practicing gun safety with his friends, children, and grandchildren. A devoted family man and a loyal friend, Tomas was always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.

His selfless nature touched the lives of many, from the foster children and godchildren he nurtured to his own children and grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity, touching countless lives with his kindness. His impact will be remembered with gratitude, and his warmth and friendship will be deeply missed.

Tomas is survived by his sons: Tomas Arizola, III of Katy, Texas and Neal Arizola of Lovelady, Texas; grandchildren:  Anthony Arizola of Wisconsin, Shadie Torres of Katy, Texas, and Nathan Arizola of Brookshire, Texas; brother:  Frank Arisola of Tilden, Texas; sister:  Eloisa Garza of Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by both his parents, his wife, Sandra and brothers:  Lupe Arizola and Tony Arizola.
