Victor Bustos

Victor Bustos, 76, longtime Brookshire resident, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018, in Brookshire, Texas.

Victor was born June 15, 1942, in Lockhart, Texas, to parents Antonio and Trinidad (Rodriguez) Bustos.Victor married Oralia Benavides on November 7, 1991, in Brookshire. They have made their home in Brookshire for the past 40 years and have been members of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Victor had been employed as a warehouse supervisor for Paco Pumps in Brookshire. He enjoyed classic cars and watching old Spanish movies.

Victor is survived by his wife: Oralia Bustos of Brookshire, Texas; sons: Victor Bustos, Jr. of Jonesborough, Arkansas, and Gilbert Bustos of McAllen, Texas; daughter: Marlisa Bustos of Indo, California; step daughter: Sue Mendez of Katy, Texas; step sons: Ruben DeLeon and his wife, Carolina, of Richmond, Texas, and Frankie Salinas and his wife, Rebecca, of Brookshire, Texas; 18 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and numerous other dear friends and relatives.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter: Ida Bustos.
