William Herbert VanVranken

No services have been scheduled. William Herbert VanVranken, also known as “Bill” or “Van”, 83, of Katy, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in Katy, Texas. Bill was born on November 8, 1939, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, to LeRay F. MacDaniels and Olive F. (Valladares) VanVranken. He worked as an accountant with a union power company. Bill enjoyed building and conducting model trains and was a Civil War buff. He is survived by his son: Richard VanVranken of Katy; daughters: Karen Addy of Grapevine and Lori Taylor of Viola, AR; granddaughters: Amanda, Ashley, Elizabeth, Jessica, Caitlin, and Katie; grandson: David VanVranken of Jersey Village; and 10 great-grandchildren. Bill is preceded in death by his father: LeRay MacDaniels; mother: Olive VanVranken; stepfather: Mr. VanVranken; and stepbrother: Phillip VanVranken.
