William Shawn Wallace, 23, of Katy, Texas, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, in Midland, Texas.
He was born March 7, 2001, in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago to Shawn and Nicole Wallace.
William was able to experience life with different cultures and in different countries because his family relocated several times. He grew up in Trinidad until he was 8 years old and then moved to Scotland where the family lived until he was 11. At that time the family moved to the Houston area where he finished High School and continued his education by earning an associate's degree.
After finishing his education, William moved to Midland, Texas, where he worked in the oil and gas industry.
He was known for being smart, athletic, respectful, and charming. His passion was football and in his free time he could be found spending time with his siblings and his friends. William was an outgoing person, never met a stranger, and everyone that met him loved him instantly.
William strengthened his faith in the Lord, as a member of St. Faustina Catholic Church in Fulshear, Texas.
He is survived by his mother and father: Shawn and Nicole Wallace; grandmothers: Cheryl Wallace and Linda De Nobriga; sisters: Megan Moody and her husband Caidon, Jessica and Kelsey Wallace; brothers: Gregory and Mark Wallace; nephew: Logan Moody; niece: Riley Moody
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Don Wallace and Robin De Nobriga.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
